This morning, Prof. Mohamed Abdinoor Dahir, CEO of Education for Africa (EFA), had the distinct pleasure of officially opening the EFA University Students’ Conference. In a thrilling announcement, Prof. Dahir revealed that EFA will sponsor 10 outstanding university student leaders to attend the 4th Africa-Asia Youth Forum (AAYF) on October 29-30, 2025, at the Kenya School of Government. Co-hosted by EFA and organized by O-YES Global Foundation, AAYF 2025 brought together 200 young leaders from across continents under the theme “Youth as Drivers of Peace, Innovation, and Economic Growth.” This forum, attended by dignitaries like H.E. Kang Hyung-Shik, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kenya, and Dr. Fatuma Adan, IGAD Head of Mission to Kenya, focused on cross-continental collaboration, youth migration, empowerment, and sustainable solutions. With 250 in-person participants and over 700 virtual attendees, it was a powerhouse of ideas, recognizing organizations like RACIDA for their contributions to youth empowerment and Africa-Asia partnerships.<\/p>

    Prof. Dahir’s involvement in such events underscores EFA’s commitment to nurturing leaders who positively impact their communities. As he noted, “Together with our partners and stakeholders, we embrace diversity, foster inclusivity, and collaborate tirelessly to build a continent where every African can live a life of dignity, purpose, and prosperity.”<\/p>
